A first appointment can be a starting point. You are allowed to choose a smaller service, ask questions, and take your time getting comfortable.
What is the difference in coverage?
Think of a bikini wax as a cleanup around the edges. It focuses on the bikini line while leaving hair in the middle. It can make sense if your goal is to tidy what shows outside a swimsuit or underwear without choosing fuller hair removal.
A Brazilian covers more of the intimate area. It is the service to consider when you want hair removed from the front, back, and between. If you want to leave some hair at the front, tell your specialist before the service starts so you can agree on the finish.
The service name is a starting point for that conversation. You do not have to know every grooming term or arrive with a perfectly worded explanation. Describe what you want left, what you want removed, and anything you are unsure about. We can talk through those preferences before waxing.
Which one should you choose for your first wax?
Choose based on your comfort, rather than feeling that one service is the “better” option. If you want to leave hair in the middle or feel nervous about a fuller service, a bikini wax can be a comfortable place to begin.

That does not mean you must start with bikini waxing. If you already know you want the coverage of a Brazilian, tell us. We can explain the appointment, answer your questions, and discuss your preferences before starting. There is no requirement to work your way up through services.
Also, leaving some hair in the middle does not always settle which service to book. Coverage elsewhere matters too. If you want hair left at the front but fuller removal around the rest of the area, text us to clarify the right booking choice.
What are the individual prices at The Blushing Cow?

These are individual service prices, not package prices. Use the bikini and Brazilian service page and current booking menu to compare the options. If you are considering an enhanced Brazilian service, check its listed price before booking; the standard prices above do not describe every upgrade.
Price can be part of your decision, but coverage and comfort should come first. Booking the smaller service solely because it costs less may not match the result you want. Equally, there is no reason to choose more removal if a bikini cleanup already suits you.
How should you prepare?
Give the hair time to grow rather than shaving right before your appointment. Our general starting point is about a quarter inch of hair, though the time it takes to reach that length varies. If you are unsure whether yours is ready, ask before trimming or shaving it.
